It's no secret that the weather in Kentucky and in the majority of the South is unpredictable-- we can see snow and a 78 degree day all in the same week. Although our winters are somewhat mild and unpredictable, it's crucial that we prep our homes for when below freezing temps strike.

Ensuring your home is winter ready will protect your wallet from big utility bills from heating your home and the cost of large repairs for unfortunate events like flooding from a pipe burst, but keeping up with the exterior and interior maintenance of your home can also save you money on your homeowner's insurance policy.
